Pink Pirouette

Now imagine a pretty, soft, embossed card....them imagine me screaming as once again Chocolate Chip will not photograph!!
I participated in one of Jami Sibley's new catalog swaps last month and my part was to use the new Pink Pirouette color. It really is a soft and lovely pink. I was in the mood for embossing so there are several embossed parts on this card. The background is stamped with the Pretty Petals BG and embossed with clear EP. The butterfly is inked in chocolate chip craft ink and embossed with clear EP and the frame is stamped with the square from Frames with a Flourish onto chocolate chip and embossed with clear EP. The butterfly was cut out, the body glued down and the wings lifted with a dimensional. The scallops are done with the new border punch---yeah for that new punch!! There is also a bit of wide chocolate grosgrain ribbon. It is really soft IRL.
We are still on vacation. Our time at the cottage on the Finger Lakes is done and tomorrow we head to a cottage on Lake Ontario. Friends were kind enough to let us use their place for a few days. This has really been a restful time. Today is all about laundry and repacking. I probably won't be back until next week. Have a great week!

I love the embossed background! I just bought this background but haven't had a chance to use it yet. It's so pretty! Love the new pink, too. I also have a hard time photographing Chocolate Chip, especially when there's a lot of contrast. It always wants to look black. I know this is even more gorgeous IRL, though.
