Late Again!

My nephew turned 6 last week and once again my card is going out late. And it wasn't for lack of knowing about it ahead of time either, that makes me even more frustrated! Hopefully a little cash will ease his pain, lol.
I used some Cosmo Cricket paper as my starting point, it is perfect for a little boy card. I love the bold colors and fun pattern. I used the cutter kit from SU to make a wavy line across the paper so it wouldn't be so boring. I also figured a shaker card would make it fun. I realize 6 year old boys probably don't care about cards but I can do my best to make it somewhat interesting. Awhile ago I purchased some adhesive circles from Jody Morrow, they are specifially for making shakers and they definitely make doing a circle soooo much easier! The one eyed monster inside is from Unity, from a set called Cuter than Most. I cut some spokes to mimic some of the images in the paper.
On the inside I used the other piece of wavy cut paper to create a pocket for the $6 I was sending. Greg has an aunt that sends our boys a dollar for each year they are old and it brings them such joy. I want to be the aunt that does that!
It is off in the mail so now I can go tackle the other cards I am behind on sending...sheesh!!

Great card.
The cash for years is a neat idea. It would be cheaper for us if I went that route!
