I have a confession to make....I am a hoarder, LOL!!!!! I buy things that I "have" to have and then they sit on my shelf and collect dust. I know I am not alone in this either!! I bought these Fabriano Mediovalis cards over the summer and there they sit. They are beautiful watercolor type notecards with a fine deckle edge that makes them fancy before you ever do anything to them. I've also had this SU host set, Both Way Blossoms, since June and have never made a set of cards with them. I have used them individually but the set is perfect for creating a set of cards. The flowers are stamped in black Stazon. I did lay down a scrap piece of paper to mask the bottom edge as the stems are quite long and have a flower on both ends. I used an Aquapainter and ink to color them and when they were dry I went over them with a darker shade of marker to add highlights and give the flowers some dimension. Add a sentiment and some organdy ribbon and voila, a set of cards in very little time. I love layers but some times it is nice to go simple.

Have a blessed day, better yet, go BE a blessing to someone today!!

Your cards are breathtakingly beautiful! Very elegant. I have the same notecards sitting on my self collecting dust. You have inspired me to get them out and start playing!
I also just wanted to say that I really enjoy visiting your blog! :-)

Your cards are lovely. I tend to do the same thing, I hoard! I haven't used my Fab. notecards yet!
