Warm Wishes

This card is based on a sketch challenge some time ago on SCS. It is a half sheet of card stock, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 that you score at 2 1/2 and 6 1/2. The end result is a card a smidge smaller than A2 size (4 x 5 1/2). It offers so many possibilities! My card is close to cocoa and regal rose. To add a bit of interest and break up the brown, I layered a piece of regal rose (2 3/4 x 5 1/2) under the front flap and added some piercing. The top panel is stamped with the swirl stamp in the Like It a Latte set. The cup is stamped in chocolate chip onto vanilla card stock. I added liquid applique to the foam and a heart and straw stamped in regal rose.
This is the inside of the card. The bottom flap creates a pocket that is secured with brads. This is where the fun comes in! If you just want to send a card, then cut an insert of card stock to write on. If you want to send a get well, put in a packet of hot cocoa or Cup-O-Soup. You could also slip in a gift card to a coffee shop. I think this would just bring a smile to the recipient. The card is also reusable!!
Like Martha Stewart says...it's a good thing!!
