OSW time

My host club meets on Monday and one of the ladies requested a One Sheet Wonder. If you have never done one, you should, they are way fun!! I stamped an entire 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of white card stock using the Polka Dots and Petals stamp set. The colors include marigold morning, cool caribbean, regal rose, taken with teal and old olive. Your end result should look like a piece of patterned paper with not very much white space left. Since we are on a time schedule with our club meeting I used larger pieces resulting in fewer projects, in our case 5. You could get way more than 5 projects out of one sheet and you are only limited by your imagination!! I did not follow any pattern, just began cutting away, starting with the largest pieces first. I used all but one tiny piece on these projects. In the first photo I also used the Unfroggetable and Polka Dots and Paisley stamp sets.

On the second photo I used the It's Your Birthday, Friendship Flowers and Doodle That sets. The smaller card is a trifold card, again inspired by Beate's blog. I ordered the envelopes to match the tall cards in the Spring Mini and made my own cards but made the fold along the long side. The piece of OSW on the tall card was the last piece and I was stumped for awhile how to use it but I like it as an index sorta card. (pssst...don't tell anyone but I really did not mean to stamp the HB upside down, silly me!!)
We also do at least one non card project in class and I have never demo'd the 2-4-6-8 box so that seemed to work in this case. It does use up a half sheet of card stock but is a cute little something to give someone.
I am looking forward to Monday because these projects cover a lot of ground with punches, paper, ink and embellishments. I hope you will be inspired to do a OSW soon, it is a great stretch of your stamping abilities!
Blessings on your day!

I always say that I'm going to try a OSW but I don't go through with it. These ideas are great!
