Polka, Polka!

Spring is here even if it doesn't feel it outside (we have snow showers in our forecast). I like this CHF Polka Dot background but have been a little dry for ideas in using it. This is such a simple card but you wouldn't believe how long it took to do!! There are many items in the round file this morning that didn't make the cut. Once it was designed I was so delighted I made 4 more! It also gave me a chance to put ink to the Polka Dots and Posies set that has seen very little use. The colors used are regal rose, certainly celery and marigold morning. The center of the flowers is punched out with the 3/4" punch and popped up on a dimensional. The stem is actually from Bodacious Bouquet and I used a celery marker to ink up only 3/4 of the stem as it was too long for my needs. I guess I could have hand drawn them too. The words along the side are masked from different stamps in the Take Three set. The ribbon is rose grosgrain from SU.
Hope it brings cheer to your day!!

These are terrific...I know what you mean about being stumped...I have been working with no success for a day and a half!

I love these cards! So much in fact, that I think I'll dig mine out and see what kind of spring card I can come up with! Thanks for the inspiration@
