Oh, so lovely...

to stamp again!! I got my first new catty order just before we packed up to move so none of my new stamps had even been mounted yet. I still have a pile waiting to be cut. I am going to love my holiday mini order, the new stamps are all die cut!! That will be awesome.
This Oh, So Lovely set is one of the new host level 1 options and it is one of my favorites in the whole catalog. It was for sure the first set that I wanted to ink up. I stamped the same flower repeatedly onto white glossy paper using black ink. The lines on this set will make it a good set to watercolor so I wasn't afraid to color outside the lines a bit on this one. I colored all the berries using a pale plum marker, added hints of perfect plum marker and used a blender pen to soften the two. I did the same to the leaves and stems using mellow moss and always artichoke markers. This may not show on your screen, but to soften the look of the white paper I used a sponge dauber to add hints of bashful blue to the background. The mellow moss card base is stamped with the background stamp from the set using artichoke ink. Narrow organdy ribbon and a new rhinestone brad finish it off.
I was worried that after all that time off I would have forgotten how to stamp. I feel so much better now :).
Blessings on your day!
