Bo Peep

Wahoo!!! I got to stamp today! Whipper Snapper will be releasing a new Anna stamp set on Friday. This time there will be new featured designers so I am waiting along with the rest of you to see it. While I wait, I thought I would use one of last months releases, Bo Peep's Sheep. This was a lot of paper piecing but very fun to do. Her dress is made from 3 different colors of cardstock: creamy caramel, blush blossom and white. The creamy caramel layer is also stamped with Cornish Heritage Farms Weave backgrounder to give it a more cloth like appearance. I think her sheep needs a bath, lol.
The card measures 5.25" square but I cut about 1.25" off the right front edge. The Wild Asparagus paper was applied to the inside back panel. Chocolate chip is the hardest color for me to photograph, it always appears black. The chocolate chip card stock was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and about a half inch of it hangs off the front flap. The blush blossom panel on the front was stamped with the new SU background, Stitched, using close to cocoa ink and the edges were sponged with C2C as well. Coloring was done with a combo of ink and Copics.
Thanks for stopping by!
