News Flash!

Oh, the obstacles before me this week! We have a man down, my son is sick with an icky stomach flu. I am trying to care for him and keep my distance at the same time! I had to work extra hours this week. We are also getting buried with snow…..big time. Earlier this week it was sleet. And Blogger is having fits for some reason.
But all that aside, I have news to share. Back in January, Diana Crick, the creator and owner of Scor-Pal asked me to do a tutorial for her website. She wanted me to cover the basics of box making. In the tutorial I cover “flat” boxes (where the bottom and lid are the same height), square boxes and rectangle boxes. Creating boxes is simple, and addicting, once you grasp some basic principles. I had so much fun creating this tutorial, I hope you will find it helpful. Please let me know if you post any boxes you make.

Here is the first page.

Here is the second page.

This photo shows examples of the various box types and is posted on the first page of the tutorial.

I would love to hear what you think!

Thanks, Diane, for the opportunity to work with you, I enjoyed it!
