To Infinity and Beyond...

My nephew is turning 3 and we are headed down for his party. His party theme this year is Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear. Do you realize Toy Story came out in 1995? That means it came out 10 years before my nephew was even born, yet the movie is a classic that kids enjoy as much today as when it first came out. I love it.

This is the card I made for him. I think he'll like it about as much as any 3 year old likes cards, lol. I am sure the Legos we bought will be the real hit. One of the things I like about making my own cards is that I can really customize it to the recipient. I would probably be pulling my hair out by now if I was looking to buy just the right card.

The soft sky is embossed with one of the new Cuttlebug folders. To highlight the number 3's I would normally use the same color marker as card stock but since we have no soft sky marker, I used a Versamarker instead. The rocket is from one of the Studio G dollar stamp sets and I colored it in with ink and aquapainter. The yellow star uses the SU punch and has a touch of glitter added to it for sparkle. The sentiment is from the Paper Trey set, Out on a Limb. The matching part of the sentiment was a perfect match to the theme and is stamped inside, "to the moon and back again. to infinity and beyond."

Lots of fun little details that will be lost on him but the reward was in the process anyway =).

Thanks for stopping by!
