Big Success!!

You plan, prepare, fret, sweat, plan and prepare some more and just like that, the event is over! The first WNY SCS stamping extravaganza is now history. It was in incredible day and all the planning paid off.
We had a house full of fun guests. We even borrowed our pastor's camper to put up in the driveway so we had enough room for everyone. The more the merrier.
The day itself went really well. We had 50 gals signed up. Talk about talent. I have been to regionals, swaps, events of various kinds and I have to say these ladies made and brought some incredible creations. This was my card front swap.
Here is a shot of the ladies hard at work on their shoebox projects. We were fortunate to get the fire hall with lots of room to spread out and great lighting. We had 10 stampers per table.
In the afternoon, we offered 4 Dirty Demo's. Holly showed alcohol inks, Diane (Cookiestamper) showed the Scor-Pal, Michelle (Flaxychick) showed Copic markers and I shared some watercoloring tips.
After the event we went to Buffalo Stamps and Stuff, my favorite local stamp store. We made arrangements ahead of time for the store to stay open late for us. I have never been in there with so many other people before. I think we depleted Sharon's stock of Copic makers, lol. We'll blame that one on Michelle's demo!
I'll share more of the event later.

I had so much fun at the swap - you and Holly did an amazing job with the planning. I hope if you guys decide to do another that you'll do a shoebox project as well.
