Happy Tuesday! Tonight is the last class for the spring stamping class I have been teaching.
Our technique this time is spotlighting. It is such a simple, yet fun technique to do. This is great if you have a large stamp that you don't like to color all the time or perhaps intimidates you. Stamps with lined images work best for this technique.

Stamps with lined images work best for this technique. I used this Penny Black image, the size and image are perfect. I did add a bit of Sakura clear glitter pen over the petals so just imagine the shimmer if you will ;). This card done in different color schemes would make a wonderful set for gift giving!
Stamps: Penny Black
cardstock:vanilla, black, apricot appeal
ink-black, apricot, close to cocoa and pumpkin pie markers
other: Black grosgrain ribbon, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circle punches, dimensionals

Haven't done this technique in quite a while. You reminded me how stunning it could be. Love this card.
