Sweet

I stopped in briefly at my LSS and saw a really cute bag made in the shape of a cupcake. I immediately thought of Taylors Dare to get Dirty challenge. I am a day late but I am lucky to have squeezed in anything since we are leaving this morning for vacation.
The bag portion is a small brown paper bag, probably only about 4" wide. I drew the shapes for a cup liner and the frosted top onto scrap paper and used that as my tempate. There is one cupcake on the front of the bag and another on the back. I used 2 different Cuttlebug folders to emboss the pieces and sponged some ink on the raised portions for more depth. The stripes on the bottom also have clear stickles on them. On the top the DP adds most of the fun but I added some small rhinestones and a red button for the cherry. The ribbon creates a handle. The sentiment reads "Diet? What diet! There's cupcakes! With SPRINKLES!" That just cracked me up. Wouldn't these make adorable party favors! Once you have a template for the pieces these wouldn't be too bad to do in mass.
Our counter tops were installed yesterday! Wow do they look great. We are almost functional again.
We leave this morning for vacation. This will be the third year in a row that we rent a small cottage on one of the Finger Lakes with my brother and his family. We will actually be gone a total of 2 weeks. I wish I was more organized and had posts lined up for you while I am away but that didn't happen. I do have a couple though. I will be using the time to rest, I think our whole family really needs it!
