Bella Time

Happy Monday!! Sorry for my long absence. We had a wonderful time on vacation. My mother is visiting from Germany and we are trying to spend as much time with her as possible before she leaves on Wednesday. Today we are headed over to Niagara-on-the-Lake in Canada. But first I thought I would share a couple things I did manage to stamp.
When we went to cottage #2 I took along my Copics and several sheets of stamped images. I think I completed 6 sheets while there and hope to get more made into cards soon. Several of them were Bella images. This sheet was all Eloise Greengrass. These are such wonderful images to color in! I find it kinda funny how much I love these cutesy, girly images when I am so not like that in life! I used the time to practice some of the Copic techniques I have been reading about on Mariannes blog. Check out the pink skirt with the polka dots. After coloring in the skirt I used touched the colorless blender to it and as the ink comes out it spreads the previous ink outward creating a lighter spot. Isn't it cool? So easy and so many possibilities! When I came home I made 3 of the images into cards. For now I left off most of the sentiments.
Card 1: Cuttlebug embossing folder with DCWV paper sanded to reveal the white core, SU lovely lilac, AC ribbon, large white brad with a flower punch underneath, Nestabilities dies.
Card 2: SU baja breeze (love this new color!!!), chocolate chip, Swiss Dots CB folder, white grosgrain ribbon.
Card 3: DP, rub-ons, sheer polka dot ribbon, soft sky, Nestabilities dies.

Thanks for visiting! I will be back this week with more. Promise!

I was just thinking, that it had been a long time since I saw a post from you!

These are soo cute!! I really like the way you did their dresses!!

I so know what you mean about it not being your IRL style. I love to stamp girly things (shoes, fashionable women, purses, etc.) but I hardly check to see if my outfit matches and I only wear make up once or twice a week. It is the beauty of stamping!!
