Sketch Stretch

Yesterday I shared that my creativity tap had run a bit dry. I had planned all week to participate in the 100th sketch over at Card Positioning Systems. The deadline was yesterday. Between having back issues and mojo issues it was a difficult task. Here is the card I spent hours on and in the end I should have just scrapped it and walked away. The whole process was ugly. I am sure many of you can relate but I would not wish it on any crafter!

Yesterday I had 45 minutes in the afternoon and tried my hand at the sketch again. Much better! I still had PTI's Floral Frenzy out so I paired it with some October Afternoon paper. The "hello" part was an afterthought. The brad is taking the place of the "o" but I think it might look a bit too much like another word, lol! I still like this one better though.
Our family had a wii face-off last night against the pastor's family. It was my first time ever playing. I was rather pathetic at it. I think I will stick to stamping.

I laughed at your comment about the brad! I never would have noticed had you not said anything! Too funny! These are both really pretty! Love that October Afternoon paper...I don't have any, but wish I did! I need to go to BSS!
