Good morning. I am preparing for a very fun day today! I am going to the Copic Certification class here in Buffalo. There will be several ladies there I am excited to hang out with, what could be a better way to spend a Monday??
I have been working on swaps for my upcoming WNY Spring Fest so I haven't had much time for stamping things to show you, except for this...
A few weeks ago I purchased a pack of MM paper called Chloe's Closet, it has some delicious colors and patterns! The colors are so springy and I am definitely in the mood for spring. I also had a chance to use the new Spellbinders dies I got in the mail recently. After cutting out the frame in Kiwi Kiss card stock I ran it through my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. I pulled out the retired set, Live Your Dreams, to create my main image. I so wish SU had not retired this set! The flowers were cut out and popped up separately. They were stamped in Tangerine Tango but the centers were a bit too stark white so I used my Copic Buttercream marker to fill in the centers. Since Copics are alcohol based you can marker over dye inks without smearing them. I think that was a tip I learned from Sharon Harnist, clever eh? I added a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and some orange twill I got from Taylor's store.
I had better get going! Thanks for stopping by, I do appreciate you!
