Tom Allen is the artist behind the Friendly Kritters images. This man has more talent in his pinkie than I have in my whole body! He is illustrating stamps for CHF, yesterday's Western Bear was one of them. Well, Tom must have a great sense of humor too because he has created some "nutty" stamp sets. The first two are being released today, Golf Nutz and Soccer Nutz. I had a ball (pun intended, lol) creating samples with these stamps. I will share 2 of them with you today.
I was in a shaped card kind of mood I guess, the first one is a golf ball.
I used my Coluzzle to cut a round shaped card that would fit into an A2 sized envie. I used a Fiskars Texture plate to put the dimples onto the "ball". I cut the flag by hand and did the coloring with Copic markers.
Here is my second card, I couldn't resist making a peanut shaped one.
I traced the peanut shape onto my card stock, cut it out and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder. Totally cheesy but I like a good serving of cheese every now and then. It reminds me of Nutter Butter cookies, lol.
I hope these made you chuckle! These are the first two of several nut themes sets. What a hoot they are! They come as a cling mount set, the Golf Nutz is only $11.99 and the Soccer Nutz only $7.99!
Thanks for stopping by!
