Reeling in Birthday Wishes!

Making a card for a 14 year old boy is a toughie! But one thing I know, my son loves fishing. Even if the bear in this image may be beyond a 14 year old, I knew the fishing aspect would be what would catch his attention.

I had to laugh though when he asked me what "HB" meant. Younger son chimed right in with the answer.

I ordered this image a few weeks ago from the PaperWorks Co, it is a Rachelle Ann Miller design. It was too cute to pass up. I have totally been in the mood for coloring lately but it means I get about one card done a day, if that!

It's a rainy day today, a good day to take a nap and watch a movie but sadly, work is calling. Thanks for stopping by.

PS-for those that asked about the peach jam recipe, this is the recipe I use except that I cook the jam for closer to an hour and add 1-2 whole vanilla beans to the pot as it cooks. Remove the beans before processing. It makes the best tasting and smelling jam on the planet!! And no pectin required.
