Kids are expected to read 25 books each school year, a big feat for my boys who would rather be outdoors. So, we read as a family. At the moment we are involved in the 39 Clues series and it seems to be holding their attention. We needed a real bookmark to replace the torn pieces of paper we were using.
I used a Puddle Jumper image from Claudia & Co. The papers are from Basic Grey and I added a strip of cork as well. The boys gave their nod of approval. Their father taught them well, they ooh and ahh whenever presented with something I make. Man training at its finest ;).
I can't wait to hear how their first day went!

Hey, how's the 39 Clues series? I'm always looking for great books for my boys?
Very fun bookmark Tracy. And so great that you've trained your men so well in their artistic appreciation :)
Great bookmark Tracy! I miss the days of reading with my kids! Enjoy every moment...they do grow up so fast!
Hi Tracy, this is a cute idea. I love bookmarks, I just made a bunch over the weekend. I love how you used the tab at the top, and all the papers you chose. I have some Edwin images from Magnolia I will use. Hugs, Rea
cute bookmark! (good luck, boys!)
Oh my gosh...this is the most adorable bookmark! :)
Great job on keeping it very "boyish" looking. I really like the image and the cork.
