Merry Kissmas

Happy Monday! Have you recovered from the Halloween sugar overload yet? I managed to keep the candy intake to a few pieces this year. A HUGE feat for me.

Speaking of candy...today I have a little goodie bag to share with you. This one is Christmas themed.

These adorable mice are a Stampavie image from Gillian Roberts. Here was my train of thought with this image: mistletoe...kissing...Hershey kisses. It all comes back to chocolate, lol. I thought I had a sentiment that read "kisses" but if I do, it was not to be found in my mess of a studio. So, I generated the sentiment on the computer. I am sure I heard it or read it somewhere so I am not taking credit for it.

The coloring is mostly Copics with shading done with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The noses are covered with black glaze pen and the red berries have a touch of glitter pen over them. The tag is actually a card so I can write a message inside before giving it away. The cello bag is a medium size from SU and it holds more than 1/2 a bag of kisses. The top is simply tied off with twine and ribbon.

We were trying to hold off turning on our furnace until today but when wet snowflakes flew over the weekend and the inside temp was 58 degrees and falling, we caved. I couldn't stamp in that kind of cold, enough is enough!
