My eyes have been twitching for a couple of days now. It is one of the not-so-fun ways my body tells me I am stressed. It's really quite annoying. One of the sources of the stress is my house. It has gotten seriously out of control. I am about ready to call that show "Clean House", lol. DH always says I over dramatize the situation, but when it makes my eyes twitch, I know it is bad. So, I have decided it is time to get down to business and tackle some of those jobs that are hanging over my head. I have no idea how long it will take. Today I only got as far as the bathroom closet, linen closet and my bedroom. I have 5 huge bags of items that will go to the Salvation Army. It feels good to get something done and I enjoyed blasting praise CD's and Josh Groban on the stereo. If I am MIA this week it is a pretty good guess that I am under a pile of something somewhere.
Last month I submitted a project to SU. They were looking for holiday class ideas. My project was not one of the winners but it did get posted to the demo site so some you may have seen this. The holder is 6X6 in size and uses a variety of supplies. I tried to figure out how to attach the instructions I submitted, but alas, I am too dumb and too tired to figure it out. If you would like me to email my word file to you please email me, I would be happy to do so.
Since I am in a purge mode today, I think I will give this Recipe Holder away to one of my readers. Leave a comment on this post and if you would like, share a favorite holiday recipe with me. On Friday at noon, I will draw a winner.
I used the Voila and Recipe sets to create a holiday recipe holder.

We must be in parallel lives right now. My eye started twitching last week while at the hairdresser's. I know that it is due to the stress of my calendar, house, yard, etc, etc.!!
Your recipe holder is ADORABLE!! Thanks for the opportunity to possibly hold it in my hands.
I would share my recipe for my orange cranberry jelled salad. BWHAAHAHAAA!!!)

This is a recipe that my mom has made the past several years on Christmas morning, along with several other delicious treats. She preheats the oven before we open stockings, puts it in the oven before we open gifts, and during "intermission" we eat our yummy breakfast. Hope you enjoy.
