I am sorry the posts have been lacking lately. The craft sale ate up all my creative time and energy but it is over now. It went okay. Financially it did well, but could've been better. I was surprised by the things that were popular and those that were not but that is the nature of things. The leftovers will be gifts at Christmas.

This card was my offering for the color challenge on SCS today: bordering blue, certainly celery and elegant eggplant. I used watercolor paper for my main image stamping off the first layer of elegant eggplant. After stamping the second layer, I took my aquapainter and blended the color. I was happy to see that the depth of color didn't get lost in the blending. I added the greenery in celery and went over it with the aquapainter as well. The detail did get lost in the leaves so I went over them with the celery maker. I used bordering blue and my aquapainter to create a border and then filled it in. The base of the card is eggplant stamped in the same with Print Pattern. The bordering blue strip is stamped in the same with Paisley. I also used certainly celery ink and the Drybrush jumbo wheel on the celery panel but it is rather subtle and hard to see. I added narrow celery organdy ribbon with a piece of copper hardware. "Friend" is just a portion of the sentiment stamp in the set which I inked with a black marker, the whole sentiment wouldn't fit into the word window punch I wanted to use. I trimmed one end of the WW punch and adhered it with a copper brad. In the end I added some Stardust Stickles to the lilacs but regret doing so now. Live and learn!

Blessings on your day!

Hi, just came across your blog linked from SCS. You mention that some things weren't as successful as others at the craft sale.

What were the most popular items you sold?

Love the purple card!!
