Recipe Swap

Here is my recipe swap for the central NY SCS gathering. I had never done one before and when I asked my husband which recipe I should do he suggested Apple Cheese Torte. It is a super yummy and impressive dessert. I had just received the Ladybuds stamp set in the mail so the apple stamp was perfect. I used mellow moss cardstock for the 6x6 base. I then wheeled it with the Leaves Awash jumbo wheel inked in always articoke. The recipe is printed on very vanilla cardstock and mounted on always artichoke. I colored the apple with cranberry crisp ink and an aquapainter, adding some green highlights at the end. I used the 1 1/4" circle punch on the apple and layered it on a larger cranberry crisp circle. They are adhered with a dimensional for a little height. I was surprised at how little room there was to work with on this size. I guess I could of reduced the font on the recipe but I figured it needed to be easy to see and read. There are 26 of us swapping recipe cards so now I need to get a 6x6 album to store them in. I am excited to see what others have come up with.

This recipe sounds like a good one! And doing a recipe swap for a 6x6 album is a great idea! I would love to get something like that together (but maybe after the holidays!).

Fun stuff!

I loved your recipe page (and everything else you made & swapped). I will definitely try this one!
