This is my door prize for the SCS gathering. I had done a frame at a stamp camp this summer and had left over pieces. My FIL cut a large piece of MDF board into tag shapes for me. He was able to get almost 30 tags from one piece of MDF board.
The tags are covered with coordinating SU designer paper. I cut my pieces to size and ran them through my Xyron machine. Once they were on I used my sanding blocks on all the edges.
The right side:
The heart is one of the chipboard pieces in the new catty that I covered with regal rose craft ink. I stamped over the heart with French Script inked in chocolate chip ink and used a sponge dauber and cc ink to distress the edges. The button is a clear one that I stamped French Script onto (Timber Brown Stazon ink) and layered onto a flower image. The calendar on the bottom is a tear off kind I ordered from Stamp On This. I used a corner punch to create slits so that the calendar can be removed/replaced down the road.
The left side:
The lilac panel is removeable so the recipient can replace it with a photo if they want. I made a mask, sponged some creamy caramel ink, stamped French Script in close to cocoa and then added the lilac. I added a strip of twill across the bottom. The small frame is another piece of chipboard that I covered in close to cocoa ink. The stamped images inside the small frame are from Noteworthy.
To finish it off I tied some brown ribbon in the holes at the top of the tags.
The biggest pain was finding small enough hinges and screws. I finally found some at Joannes that worked but weren't perfect. I might try drilling holes in the sides and using book rings but I am not sure it will stand up as well as with the hinges.
I hope the recipient will like it.

Tracy, this is fantastic! I love this idea and might have to do these for only my best friends. Such a special gift!
