It's in the mail! Here is a card I sent into SU. Last year I set a personal goal to send at least one entry a month to SU for their contests. I must have sent in 15-20 cards/projects last year. They must get 1000's of entries so I kept reminding myself so many cards...so few winners but it is a bummer when you don't see your name in print each month. The glimmer of hope gets you every time. In November they did chose one of my cards and you had to peel me off the ceiling I was so excited!! Don't ask me for a picture though because by late in the year I stopped taking pictures of my stuff. Winning was just the shot in the arm I needed to keep trying. This year I am adding the goal of sending at least a few things to a publication.
This card uses some of the designer paper from the Sell A Bration set Just Delightful and the host set The World Over. The card is certainly celery with accents of always artichoke and perfect plum. It doesn't show very well, but there are pierced holes along the artichoke strip. The button has some of the designer paper behind it and the brads at the top are always artichoke. The flowers are colored with a combination of watercolor crayons and markers.
I sent in another one I will post next week.
For those demos out there who have thought about sending in something but haven't yet...you can't win if you don't enter! It's like the New York State Lottery logo says...you never know!

Very cute! I would love to see this card on Stamper's Showcase or in a publication. It's very pretty! I love greens and purples together. TFS!
