Sweetness!

My friend and stamping buddy, Karen, is a bookkeeper at our church. January is a really stressful month as they try to finish up the books from 2006 and prepare new budgets for the coming year. I wanted to send her a little something and got the idea for packaging some Crunch bars , a little chocolate to help her "crunch" the numbers.
I saw a cute cello bag wrap posted on SCS by StampwithDiane and knew it would fit the bill perfectly. She didn't give dimensions so I had to come up with my own, not that tricky though. I cut a piece of card stock 3 1/5 X 11 and scored both ends at 5", leaving a 1" base. I layered a 3 x 4 piece of Loves Me DP on the front. I wanted to punch a window like Diane had done but my punch wouldn't go in far enough to center it. So, I placed my 1 3/8" square punch as far in as it would go and punched out a square, then placed it on the other side, matched it up with the first square and punched it again, creating a rectangle. I filled the small cello bag with candies, sandwiched it inside and punched holes through both layers of card stock and the cello bag to receive the ribbon. I created the tag with the larger tag punch and the 1 1/4" square punch. The stamped image is from A Little Love.
Simple and fun project for a workshop. Since we are in tax season it would be nice to make one up to give your tax preparer if you have one.

Tracy,

I love your version -- very clever to use the square punch from both sides. I'll have to remember that. the reason my circle was centered is because I used a slightly narrower piece of close to cocoa card stock -- mine was only 3". If I have time to night I'll update my photo to include the measurements.

Again, Great job! And thanks for mentioning my project on your blog!
