Flowers and Lace

Happy Super Bowl day to you!! All our plans for hanging out and eating junk with friends are shot as we have a sick kiddo. No worries, I will probably get in some stamp time instead with the game in the background.
A.C. Moore had $1 bags of ribbon and trim last week so I bought a bag of this lace trim. It is off white with hints of blue, pink and green. My first thought was a baby card but I didn't have a vision for one. I used the retired SU set Easy Elegance instead. The flower is inked in regal rose with some rose red touches and the stem is certainly celery with hints of always artichoke. The bottom regal rose panel is stamped in Fine Lace and regal rose ink. I really struggled with having a sentiment to match the feel of the card and should have just left it off.
I hope you enjoy your day whether it involves football or not!

Oooh love the lace and the flower is perfect with it. We are in the middle of a blizzard so we're staying in and let me say, card making with the game in the background actually sounds like a great idea.

Love your card. I forget about lace as an embellishment. This will make me think about it! Very pretty. Jan

Beautiful card! I love the softness of it, with the watercolored look and the lace.
