Snow Day!

Look out my back door....lots and lots of snow!! No school for the kiddos today and the forecast says it won't let up until tonight. Forget boots, this stuff requires hip waders!!


I did get a chance to make a card last night for yesterdays color challenge on SCS. I just got this host set, Flowers for a Friend, so I was anxious to put ink to it. The colors are so saffron, certainly celery and cranberry crisp. I used shimmer white for my stamping, it just adds that extra touch. The saffron flowers are up on dimensionals as is the whole flower panel. It is too light to show but I also used the Flannel BG over the saffron layer. The ribbon is SU burgundy grosgrain.
