This is the other card we did at host club last night. One of the ladies had requested a pop-up card and I had been wanting to give this one a try anyway.
The colors came from the Sarah designer paper, I wanted to keep it gender neutral. The base is certainly celery which was stamped repeatedly with the sparkle stamp in the Eat Cake set. The cake is inked with gray, ballet blue and celery markers. We also added glitter to the flames. The "HB" is from the It's Your Birthday set and is punched out with the 3/4" square punch.
The inside white card stock is cut 1/4" smaller than the card (8 1/4 x 5 1/4). Fold the card stock and make marks on the back side 2" down the center fold from the top and 1 1/2" to either side of the center fold. Make score marks from your center fold mark to the outside marks. Fold along your score lines and create your pop-up. Adhere your white card to celery. Be generous with the adhesive here but make sure not to put any behind the pop up. We stamped 2 balloons from the Eat Cake set and mounted them with dimensionals. The strings were hand drawn with a gray marker. The sentiment is from the Happy Everything set.
People really enjoy interactive/motion cards and this one is more on the easy side compared with others. Give it a try!
Blessings on your day.
