Little Birdie Thanks

Another quickie card, that seems to be all I can muster this week. I bought this Cuttlebug embossing folder a few weeks ago and I don't think I have used yet. It is such a fun folder and I hardly wanted to cover any of it up so I went with a window card. The base is very vanilla and the front is marigold morning. I just love MM with black, the combo is so striking! I punched the window with SU's 1 3/8" square punch. The frame idea has been done before but Beate's blog inspired me here. I punched the 1 3/8" square in a piece of scrap black and then used my Marvy scalloped square to center the square in the punch thus creating a frame. How was that for clear??!! The bird from Very Punny was stamped inside the card and colored with ink, markers and an aqua painter. The gingham ribbon finished it off nicely. The bird and the colors just make me happy!!
