Magenta carries these metallic stickers that are so cool. I have had several packages for a long time. I think I am in a dust-off-your-shelves mode lately. I have new rubber but feel totally uninspired to use it at the moment. Here is what I came up with using those stickers.
I started with the large square one, adhering it to a piece of confetti white I had in my scrap pile. The stickers themselves in this set are silver and oh so lovely. I used an aqua painter with artichoke and eggplant watercolor crayons to blend in color around the leaves and flower. They do have special markers you can use to color onto the stickers but I don't have those. I love the soft look that resulted. I trimmed it close and layered it onto a piece of eggplant. I thought I would stick with the 2 colors and not overpower the card with other stuff so the stickers could be the focal part. The sticker on the left wasn't' quite long enough so I added a flower to either end. The sentiment is from Everyday Elegance, a retired SU set.
A couple of other notes...
Sue B, I got your package of stamps yesterday, thank you so much!! Karen happened to be here for stamping last night and she was so excited!
If anyone is interested in donating stamps to Romania missions we have plenty of time. You can scroll down to read the whole Romania story.
Thanks for the encouragement. I bought a cute book yesterday called "Before You Leap, A Frog's-Eye View of Life's Greatest Lessons" by Kermit the Frog. It is full of great wisdom, here is the one I liked yesterday..."Life is great. But without bad times, we wouldn't know the difference." I chose to let the bad times teach me and grow me rather than defeat me.
Blessings on your day!

Wow - that is really gorgeous! I've been hoarding those stickers but I can see it's time to use them.
This is terrific...I am so glad it's a sticker or I would have been really jealous of your embossing prowess!
