Her card uses Big Blooms, Polka Dots and Paisley and the Jumbo Petals wheel.I like how she layered the various flowers from Big Blossoms. There is a small brad in the very center. The white dots around the edges are a white gel pen. She also used the Petals & Paisley DP like Debbie. Great card Simone!
I also wanted to share a tip with you today. You can get some awesome looking paper by coloring the Au Chocolat designer paper. You can add colored accents with markers as well as color whole pieces. The suggested method is to use a brayer with a sponge attachment but I found this to be messy, time consuming and uses way too much ink (it all absorbs into the sponge and makes your paper very wet). The rubber attachment takes even longer and doesn't give really good coverage. I am covering entire 12x12 sheets of paper for a swap I am doing so I needed to find a better method. I tried wiping my ink pad directly onto the paper. That worked fantastic!! It was quick, gave great coverage and used way less ink. When I was done I refreshed the ink pad with the re inker and put it away!! It may not have even needed re inking but I like my pads to be juicy! Here is a look at what I did. I put down scrap paper and wiped my almost amethyst ink pad over it. Isn't it beautiful??? You will have to wait a few weeks to see what I did with it!! I hope this gives you ideas and maybe saves you some ink or from buying a foam attachment!

Wow - what a great idea for the chocolate paper. I love the designs, but didn't want all brown paper...now I may have to re-think! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome! And then you don't even have to clean your brayer. I never use my brayer, because I HATE to clean the thing.
Oooh that sounds cool - what a great tip! Can't wait to see what you create out of this newly "created" designer paper! Thanks for sharing!
