Palette O' Daisies

Last night was about using things that haven't seen much love lately. I got the Palette of Prints designer paper and sadly it sits there. I also hardly ever use sahara sand card stock. I would much rather reach for kraft or natural ivory for a neutral. I used one of the almost amethyst pieces of designer paper and chose vintage violet as my mat color. The flowers on the almost amethyst panel are stamped in violet and colored with a white gel pen. I used so saffron brads for the centers and pierced the stems. As I went to assemble the pieces I thought it still lacked something so I used a scrap of white card stock under the top of the designer paper. I forget that white is not just for stamping but can also work well for layering. I added some white grosgrain and a scrap of violet stitched ribbon, pierced along the bottom edge and stamped the sentiment from Take Three. This is a quickie card and would make a nice set using some of the other prints of paper in the pack.
Thanks for stopping by!

Very pretty! I'm a paper piercer-aholic, so I really like how the stems compliment the piercing on the bottom.
