Welcome to Tuesday! Have you gone over to PaperTrey yet to see the new ladybug set?? How fun is that??
Oh, today is also the unveiling of a new Dirty Dozen gallery over at SCS. So much to see...I better get crackin!
My SIL works in a lab and they were recently cleaning out closets. They came across tons of little white paper containers that Melissa thinks were once used to ship items. They were bound for the trash but knowing that I could probably use them somehow, she rescued a bunch for me. Isn't it great when you get those around you to support your sickness?? I love it!! These containers are about 3" in diameter and look like mini ice cream container. They are perfect for filling with candy or other small items. This is my first one to alter and I just know I am going to have so much fun with the rest! I used the Petals and Paisley designer paper and adhered it with sticky tape. The "S" is from the Big Deal alpha set and the other letters are Karen Foster snap stamps. I used both oval punches to frame the sentiment. On the top I cut a tempting turquoise circle with my CM circle cutter and embellished it with some flowers and a MM jumbo white brad.
On our local news yesterday they interviewed Martha Stewart who was in town for some event. She also filmed a segment for her show from the Lilac Festival I was telling you about earlier. Apparently Martha loves lilacs and you can see the segment on Thursdays show. How cool is that?? Our little corner of the globe goes big time!
Have a great day.

This is just adorable, Tracy! What a great SIL you have too!
What a sweet little container Tracy! Your SIL is the bomb for snagging these for you.
And yes, I've already ordered my new Papertrey set and scoped out the dirty dozen (but will be scoping them out again and again).

This is fabulous!
Very cute -- it's so great you can take something so ordinary and plain and make it pretty!
very cute container! it reminds me of ice cream.....hmmm...I could go for some Ben & Jerry's about now...LOL.
This is so adorable, Tracy! I love the way you decorated it. And I can relate to the "sickness" thing. I just pulled something out of the trash tonight to stamp on later. :D
