Keep it simple is my theme for this card, don't ruin it with ribbon or other girly embellishments, LOL! For some of us a card that seems so simple can actually be very difficult. Somehow it seems so unimpressive after you work on layers, techniques, embellishments, ect.
One thing that really helps a simple card is designer paper, it adds so much for so little effort. Here I used the Apple Cider paper from the mini catalog. It dictated the color choice making that process easy as well. I have always liked really rust even though it doesn't get a lot of play time. The main image is stamped in chocolate chip on river rock...now there is a color I am lovin' and using a ton!! The spice on the card comes from the jumbo eyelet and brads. Men like hardware and these jumbo eyelets fit that bill.
Thanks for stopping in!

Love your blog. You are very talented!
Great job on your card for the guys! I love how you used brads on either side of the jumbo eyelet. Nice papers too!
