Snowman Shaker

I worked all afternoon yesterday on Dirty Dozen projects. I can't wait to share them because I have had the best time on these projects!! Once I get on a roll however, it is hard to pull myself away to do anything else.

Here is another piece from my wheeled OSW I did a few days ago. The emboss resist shows up a little better on this one.
I bought the stamp set, Wishing You Cheer, because I thought the stamps were perfectly sized for slide ornaments and shakers. It finally saw ink. I created the shaker by first punching 2 1" squares into a piece of basic grey card stock, slightly overlapping them to create a rectangle. Then I punched it out with the Marvy Giga scalloped rectangle. I attached a piece of acetate behind the window, put down a edge of Scotch foam tape, added some clear beads and then my stamped image. Don't shakers make you happy??? Again, the sky blue and basic grey needed a punch of color so I added a panel of real red to this one. I used white grosgrain ribbon with a scrap of red I had for the bow.

Today hubby and I both have the day off so who knows what we'll do. It is so nice to have time together just us.
