Faux Postage

Happy Thursday...just two more days until our WNY SCS gathering and I am doing mach 3 trying to get everything done!
I teach a class at a local rec center and each week we cover a new technique. This week we did reverse masking and then took that a step further to do Faux Postage. Remember that one?? You can print the templates up on SCS, look in their resource section.
We used garden green and not quite navy ink to create the background and then stamped the large stamp from Essence of Love set with black ink. We trimmed it with Fiskars postage scissors. The garden green panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the script embossing folder...are you seeing a theme here?? The sentiment on the front is part of a longer one which we stamped on the inside, it says, "sending you smiles".
Sometimes it is good to dust off the older techniques!
Okay, I am off to work...

It is really outstanding, your blog! I did not even want to leave the web page because everything is arranged so perfectly well and the content is so interesting that it attracts everyone’s attention. Thank you very much for such a great pleasure and interest! I’ve already made your blog a part of my favorite links and will visit it many more times.
