I leave for the day to go to Rochester and this is what I returned home to!! Dude, who stole my kitchen?? My father-in-law is here for the week to help Greg start our kitchen remodel but they accomplished way more than I thought they would in a day!! They took down a wall so we can make a bigger eat-in kitchen. Needless to say, we are covered in dust and knee deep in mess. Since this is a DIY project, I imagine it will be 8-10 weeks before we are operational again.
Today is the Dirty Dozen monthly challenge and my card is still locked away in my brain. I do hope to get to it after work today but I make no promises. But be sure to go check out the other gals amazing creations over on Splitcoast. It looks like Kittie is the only one up so far but check here later.
Blessings on your day!

Oh my goodness, Tracy! You must have been in shock! How exciting to get things moving along, but that would be a surprise. It will be so fantastic when it is finished. Just keep your eyes on the prize.
Love ya,
Lesa
YOu are so lucky to be getting a new kitchen!! Can't wait to see the finished pix :)
Yay! It's take-out night! ;0)
I bet the boys are having fun watching & helping!
Home improvement projects like this always start out so fun and with great anticipation of the outcome. It gets a little tiresome after a while, living with the mess, but it will be so worth it! It may be done sooner than you think at the rate they're going!
omg i feel your pain, shock and have fun eating dust for months! my kitchen was demolished in February and we are just now finishing it up. i have lived out of boxes, washed dishes in the bathroom and really learned the importance of the kitchen in these months! was it all worth it? HELL YES!
my husband has now moved onto the deck... why did i ever buy him power tools?

Oh my! This brings up so many memories for me! We just did the same thing about 4 years ago! Gutted EVERYTHING in that ugly kitchen! I still have dust coming out of my registers! It was also a DIY project and took longer than 8-10 weeks, so be prepared! It's all worth it in the end, though!
