Stamping is kinda spotty this week as we work on the kitchen. We do have 3 cabinets in, the biggies too. A couple of large pantry cabinets and the one that goes over the fridge. Since we have an older house we have to work around lots of little issues but I think this section was the hardest. On Saturday, Holly (Toy) and her DH are coming to help us again. He knows his stuff and we are grateful for their help. My hope is by the end of the weekend to have all the cabinets in. I am amazed at how complicated it all can be.
Diane (Cookiestamper) invited me to participate in an ATC swap awhile back and since they have gone postal, I think it is now safe to share mine. Our theme was "make me laugh" without anything too inappropriate. Rosies Roadshow stamps immediately came to mind and this gave me an excuse to order some. They are small to work with but oh so wonderful!! Isn't this picture hysterical? It looks like the ducks are having a potty clatch, lol. I was just laying them all out as I went and just had to take a picture. I guess I am easily amused, lol. The toilet was stamped onto glossy paper to give it a more authentic look. I colored it with old olive and cut them all out. Can you say "cramp"? The ducks were stamped on white, colored, cut out and mounted on a dimensional. I cut a window out of Chatterbox paper with a square Nestability. SU's groovey guava and old olive were great matches to the paper. I stamped the sentiment (also RR) onto groovy guava and cut it to fit the ATC. Four old olive brads finish it up. I had so much fun with this ATC, I hope the other gals in the swap enjoy it. I should be getting my package today and can't wait to see the others.
Have a blessed day!
