Happy Saturday to you! I have had a few inquiries about the kitchen. It is about 95% done but fully
functional. Every time I thought to take a picture, it was going to be too much work to clean it first,
lol!! We are now constantly in there and I am usually cooking, canning or baking something. Here are just a couple of shots of how it looks today. Our to-do list is getting shorter. The baseboards, window and door casings, crown molding and valance over the sink are the major things left. I have purchased fabric to recover our chairs and make window treatments. We have yet to hang anything on the walls either. That will all come in time.

I started a
family blog more than a year ago and if you care to see more pictures of the kitchen, you can hop on over there. We started the tear out in May and I documented much of the process. I enjoy reading back over it, it gives me such a better perspective. We really did do a lot of work.
Yesterday, Greg and I went on a double date with the pastor and his wife to see the new movie "
Fireproof". We are doing a 6 week sermon series on marriage and plan to use parts of the movie during that time. It was a great movie and I encourage you to go see it.
Have a great weekend!
