Dirty Re-do

Man, a whole week without a post, sorry! Hubby and son have been sick most of this week and I am working full-time this week and next. There has just been no time or energy left at the end of the day to stamp. I am working on making the directions to the tote available soon.
Today is the day the Dirty Dozen challenge goes up. Holly (Toy) threw down a great one--to case one of the earlier cards in our own gallery. Just like Sunday's Featured Stamper challenge, we were to change at least 3 things but keep the essence of the original. I don't really advise that you look that far back in my gallery, lol! I didn't have a camera and scanned my cards which just added to the ugly factor. I was struck by how boring most of my cards were. But, it good to realize that there has been growth in my stamping! And it is clear that my stash of supplies has grown immensely, lol!
Here is the card from the first page of my gallery on SCS. DH says he still remembers that card and was quick to say it was a good one. He is sweet isn't he? Well, here is my re-do...

I kept the layout the same and water colored my main image just like in the older card. But I changed up the colors, image and ribbon. Apparently I didn't own much ribbon back then 'cause I posted about it. This time I used a stamp by Cornish Heritage Farms, the Closed Tulip from the Shady Tree line. LOVE those stamps! I think my water coloring skills have improved a bit from back then. I chose reds to really contrast with the black and cream DP I used from Graphic 45. The ribbon is May Arts that I got from one of Jody's ribbon shares awhile ago.
This was a really fun challenge! If you would like to check out the other Dirty Girls re-do's check them out here. I am sure they will be uploading throughout the day so check back.
Time to get ready for work! Thanks for stopping by.
