Hello Monday!

Monday is here again! I hope you had a nice weekend. My oldest son and DH were on a Boy Scout Klondike weekend (winter camping) so my youngest and I painted the town! I took him to dinner and a movie on Friday, we went to a local dollar theater to see Bedtime Stories. I thought it was a decent movie, my son thought it was great. That is all that matters. On Saturday we went shopping. He likes to shop as long as it is stuff he is interested in. Typical probably for a 10 year old boy. So, I have to have a strategy when we go. One store for me, then one for him. We spent a little bit of time in the stamp store and I came home with this new Penny Black stamp and this new paper by My Mind's Eye.

I went with a 4 1/4 square for my card just to change it up a bit. The bright colors make me happy especially considering it is 12 degrees outside with a windchill in the negative numbers. Brrrr.
The last stop on our outing was to Barnes and Noble so my son could get the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. I am pleased to buy a book for my mostly non-reader. He spent much of the rest of the weekend playing hockey in the driveway and reading. I say we had a successful weekend!
