Sample Quickie

Well, yesterdays class was a lot of fun, just like I thought! Marianne taught us some cool new things to do with markers and blender pen and I enjoyed hanging out with my friend Lynn, Cheryl Rowley, Lisa Kind and several of the ladies from Buffalo Stamps. By the end of the day I was propping my eyes open with toothpicks, lol. We didn't do much coloring of actual images but I did manage to complete a Bella image I brought along.

This sample uses a feathering technique using 2 different colors of markers. You can see it done on the petals of her dress. Super cool! I thought it made her glow! Her wings also have clear Spica glitter pen added to it for some sparkle but you will have to imagine that part. When I came home I mounted it to a simple card, partly because I wanted to leave the colors of the image as the focal point and partly because I was too tired to do anything more creative!
I have to get to work, so I am needing to keep it short, thanks for stopping by!

I thought this looked familiar! I'm amazed that you had time to do this! I was dog-tired by the time I got home...but I did manage to color something with one of the new techniques we learned, come to think of it! LOL! Lovely card and it was so nice to spend the day with all of you! :)
