Twin Trendy Trees

Say that 3 times fast, lol!!! The new SU set, Trendy Trees, was immediately on my must have list when the new catty came out. Here are 2 quick cards I made this morning pairing the stamps with the Good Morning Sunshine DP.

They are pretty similar so you will have to look close to see the modifications I made. Both use chocolate chip card stock that I stamped repeatedly with the circle stamp using cc ink. Both use the curly label punch, since it mimics the Top Note die I used on the DP. I changed up the ribbon and sentiments. The second card also has some piercing around the 1 3/4" circle punch.

TIP: an easy way to do your piercings in a circle is to use a round plastic canvas that is readily available in the sewing section of most craft stores.

This SU only card uses just one stamp set, 2 ink colors, 3 card stock colors and a bit of DP. By using just a few ingredients and repeating certain elements, like shapes or colors, you can design a wonderful card.
Blessings on your day!

I have never seen this plastic thing in the sewing section. Maybe not available in this country?? That's the story of my life! What was the original use for it??
