I am going to share something I have never shared before...a scrapbook page! I do not scrapbook anymore, much to the dismay of my guilty conscience. It honestly causes me too much stress. It is one of those crazy no win deals...it stresses me to scrap and it stresses me to see the pictures piling up! If money were no object I think I would pay someone else to do it for me.
The only reason this page got made was because I needed a scrapbook layout for my application for the Spellbinders Design Team. Which we won't talk about since they didn't choose me, moving on... For having virtually no lay-out sense, I was pleased with how it turned out but it is clearly not my area of expertise.
These were photos taken last summer while we were vacationing on Cayuga Lake with my brother and his family. My bro is an avid sportsman and in the summer, it is all about fishing. He has hooked my oldest son Josh, in the sport, not with an actual hook, lol. I thought I found a clever way to use the Spellbinder Snowflake die set. Can you spot it? I turned one of the snowflakes into a nautical steering wheel. I sewed on this and everything! Click on the photo if you want an even closer look, just don't laugh so hard I can hear you, okay?
I did scrape the bottom of the barrel with this post, it is the only photo left on my computer that hasn't been blogged about. In 2 days is the WNY SCS Spring Fest I am hosting. There are 75 ladies coming to this all day event. Yes, I am stressed. Yes, I have a list longer than there are hours to tackle it. No, my house isn't cleaned to my satisfaction for guests. But I am breathing in and breathing out. It will all get done and if not, I won't die. I hope. The next time you hear from me it will probably be post-event.

Love the design on your page - the fish tail is super on that photo and the frame - great DP's and colors!
good for you, neat idea with what you did with the photo to make it like a fish. Way to go

Wow! This is one of the neatest scrapbook pages I have ever seen. Great job. I feel the same way about scrapbooking that you do. Can't even start.
