Krafty Winter Ensemble

Good Monday morning to you! Today I am sharing my last entry in the Cornish Heritage Farms Summer Design Challenge. I did this before we went on vacation since I knew the deadline was only a day after we were to return home. The last challenge was to do a One Sheet Wonder.

I was able to create a covered 1/2 Composition notebook, a covered list pad, a set of 4 cards and an ornament. My base started as a 12x12 piece of kraft card stock and I used the Rummage Bin's Joyeux Noel set.
When I am using a OSW I usually start with my largest piece, in this case the composition notebook. The binding is covered with a piece of dark brown velveteen paper. I created embellishments using Spellbinder snowflake dies and some chunky glass glitter. The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of twill.
Next I covered the list pad. Both the journal and the list pad have some cool winter brads on them that I got a couple of years ago from Jacksonbelle's store.
The set of cards also use the new set, Evergreen Holiday. The "25" is a separate stamp that I added to the scene to create the look of a stamp. I even used some postage decorative scissors on the edges.
With a sliver of left over card stock I made the ornament using a heavy chipboard heart. I covered the heart with some chalk ink and added another glittered snowflake.
If you click on the photo you can get a better view.
It was a lot of fun to create these projects. The winner of the challenge made her OSW out of acetate, very cool. It was much like the printed clear sheets you see out now.
I am off to work, have a blessed day!
