Yummy canned creations! This round it was Peach Vanilla Jam, Raspberry Jam, Bread & Butter Pickles and Blueberry Lime Jam. At this very moment the jar seals are popping and the smell of peaches and vanilla beans is hanging in the air. Oh how delightful.
Truthfully, I have been doing this for the past 2 weeks. When I can a recipe, I usually do 2-4 batches so it adds up to a lot. We eat a fair portion of it ourselves but I also make extra for giving at Christmas. It is one way to stretch our giving budget. Since canning has become somewhat of a lost art, I find people really enjoy these goodies from the kitchen. Salsa is the last item on the list for the season, maybe later this week.
Anywho...I am headed down to the stamp room now so hopefully I will emerge with something to share tomorrow!
