Shrink It!

Today is the release of the Bracket Scrapblock at Cornish Heritage Farms. Don't adjust your monitor, you aren't seeing things. This is a mini version of the large 6x6 stamp, shrunk down using shrink plastic. How fun is that?!

I stamped it onto translucent shrink plastic using Timber Brown Stazon ink, cut it out and then shrunk it. The finished size is about 2 1/2" by 2 3/4". Shrink plastic doesn't shrink true but rather a tad bit more one direction than the other. But it doesn't really make a difference to the end result here. (just a piece of shrink plastic trivia for you, lol) I used sticky backed letters on the tag and attached it to my bakery box with ribbon. If you want a hole in the tag you will have to punch it before shrinking. I think I used a 1/2" circle punch on this tag and it ended up being just right for the ribbon. The paper covering my box is from the DCWV's Doodlin' Around pad and it is all glittery. Oh la la!

After shrinking it with one hole, I thought it would make a great door hanger on a baby or kids room. In that case, a hole on each side would work out well to run the ribbon through.

Thanks for visiting!
