Red Chintz

I'm back as promised with a red project. This Vintage Chintz backgrounder stamps so beautifully, reminds me of vintage wallpaper. The kind of paper I would probably tear down if it were in my house 'cause I am so over wallpaper. BUT, I adore it on paper! Let me set the stage...Poison Ivory shimmer cardstock stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy ink. Mmmm, can you picture the shimmer and elegance?? Good, because my camera didn't pick any of that up, lol. But the rich red pattern can't be missed. I created a box to fit ATC sized cards (2 1/2 by 3 1/2), filling it with photos and tidbits for hubby.
Here is a close up of just the box. Gorgeous, no?

I had to do some masking to get all sides covered but if you mask at the folds it is really hard to tell it isn't one solid pattern. I can't say I use Brilliance ink very often but I was so smitten with the coverage and color.
When the stamp is released tomorrow you will be able to see several gorgeous samples from the DT. Stamped in blue, green, brown, red and more, so many possibilities.
I am looking forward to the weekend. I. Can. Make. It.
