Sweet!

It's mid week already! I had a productive stamping session last night and it felt good. Mostly design team stuff, so it will be a bit before I can show you but any stamping is good.

As promised, here is one more card with the Bear Essentials set. This one is my favorite.

If you take a close look at the actual bear in the set you will see that the one on my card has a different expression. Specifically his eyes. I really wanted to use this bear but his eyes had more of an "I'm sorry" look. After I inked up the stamp, I used a moist Q-Tip to wipe off the eyes. Then I stamped it and went in with a brown marker to dot in a new pair of eyes. It was quick, easy and painless surgery and totally gave him a face lift, lol! His belly has pink fuzzy flock on it. I have never used that stuff before but it was easy and fun. Another first for me was using the pearl Trinket Pin. It's a Maya Road item I ordered from Eclectic Paperie before Christmas.

This is for Cheryl and the others that asked about my gift swap. It was the first gift to be opened and was the most traded gift of the night. It was fun to watch the plotting that went on but in the end it went home to Massachusetts with Gail. I got a new stick blender and Greg got a box of cereal, not just one though, a box of boxes of cereal! If you knew how much cereal my guys eat in a week you would know it was the perfect gift. The whole swap was a lot of fun and I think we will do it that way again next year.

Gotta go get ready for work. Thanks for stopping by!
